Winter Bird

This was a very simple but ohh so unique cake. The first layer was chocolate, second was carrot cake with cream cheese icing, the last was french vanilla. Each where then covered with white fondant speckled with fresh vanilla bean to give that "snow pecked" effect. A special log base was designed and finished for display. The birds where made of gum paste. Each branch was wrapped and a final sprinkle of sugar snow flakes were added.
